Westveil Update / Returns & Reclaims / Blacvale Ltd (HF Stable)

Hello everyone.

I know I've tried to come back to All Sim multiple times since 2018 and it just really hasn't worked. I found that the smaller, more restricted community of Horses Forever just works better for me at this stage in my life. I've been active again there since 2021 and I'm pretty happy with the herd and responsibilities I have there.

Westveil Estate (/Cherrywood I believe was my latest plan) will never return.

[This paragraph is edited due to changing my mind about All Sim participation:] I will register old and current horses at SAS when it's online and likely let my horses show there at that time. I have no plans to re-enter my HF horses in the associations as they are right now. I don't know yet if I plan to breed outside of HF.

I am in the process of sifting through the horses I had in the All Sim and either importing them to HF or placing them in my records to live on either my holding pattern list or my ancestors list. "Holding pattern" is for horses that are waiting to import to HF at a later date / being used as breeding stock for my HF herd and are otherwise in sim limbo. "Ancestors" is a record of horses that will never be imported to HF and are no longer being used as breeding stock. This will include sold horses that I feel necessary to document.

My pre-2016 renovation database is also online in a minimalist state here.

RETURNS
I've said it before, but for the sake of saying everything in one place, I am assuming that active All Sim members have reclaimed from me at this point. If your name does not appear on the reclaim list below, I'm recognizing you as an active All Sim player and I consider anything I bought from you reclaimed and not fair game to ever use in HF.

If you don't mind homebreds going to HF and you still haven't reclaimed from me, please do let me know!

RECLAIMS
I have not and will not reclaim from anyone who is active in the All Sim. Exception: I am also not reclaiming from Silence/Mika as we're still in contact and I know that she may be coaxed back into sim.

As I go through my old records, I am considering Westveil homebreds fair game to use as I see fit if they were sold to/last owned by any of the following. Let me know by the end of March 2023 if anyone shouldn't be on this list.

Hi Jenna sounds good!

Steffi of Briar Creek has passed away on march 11th of 2018.
Whatever she had listed on her stable at that point was been saved in copy on here https://moorwiesen.de/register , so there might be some Wv homebreds but Im not sure. If you want to reclaim any, youre welcome to do that, just let me know so I can ask for an owner change at the VPR and you can maybe add their new links so I can have them added too.

I remember hearing about Steffi. I don't think she had any Westveil kids. I think she's in my records as someone I bought from at some point.

I may PM you at some point to pass on some owner change requests on the German register for other inactive owners, though! I have a stable account and the old Westveil name is linked to it, so I can do what I need to do with the ones marked as owned by Westveil.

Update: I've been convinced. I WILL compete my horses at SAS when it's done. I won't bother re-entering the associations while we all wait since my current active horses are all in HF. I'm undecided on if/when I'll resume breeding outside of HF.
